Corrections
We try our best to make sure that patterns are correct and complete, but sometimes things get past us. Please check here for known corrections to be made to various patterns.
And, if you find something that needs to be fixed in one of our patterns, please let us know. Thank you!
Applique to Go
On the first printing of Applique to Go, two items were left off the supply list on the back cover. Please note that you will also need two zippers (9" or longer) and 1 yard of 1" nylon or cotton strapping to make the Thread Case.
Baa Baa Black Sheep
On patterns printed before April, 2012, four small (but important!) words are missing from the instructions for making the sky/meadow section.
Please change the first step in section A on page 2 to read as follows:
With right sides up, layer a white 10½ x 37" strip on top of a red 10½ x 37" strip, matching edges.
Cell Phone/Camera Case & Wallet
On patterns printed before August, 2012, there are three errors in the cutting instructions at the top of page 2.
The measurements shown for the Flap and flap lining should be two, 3" x 3¾" and the measurements for the Outer Pocket should be 5" x 10".
The measurements shown for the Bias Binding should be 13" x 13" though it would not hurt to cut 14" x 14" as your seams will be further apart and you'll have a little more to play with.
Note that the measurements for these pieces shown in the Suggested Cutting Layout AND in the pattern are correct.
Baby Bibs
On some patterns made in April, 2010, page 7 was inadvertently omitted. If you did not get page 7, please contact us and we'll send you that page.
Chinese New Year
On some Chinese New Year patterns printed before April 14, 2011, the seam lines on the blocks on page 10 did not show up. Please be sure to add a 1/4" seam allowance when cutting out the paper piecing pattern.
Feeling Crabby for Gelato
On patterns printed before 4/14/11, please make this correction:
Page 3.
From Blue Ombre Gelato Fabric Strips, cut the following pieces:
First Cut:
Outer Border
From D-Dark fabric
Cut two 4½" x 41" strips and two 4½" x 49" strips
(NOT two 2" x 36½" strips and two 2" x 39½" strips)
Feeling Crabby
On patterns printed before 7/19/10, please make this correction:
Page 2.
C. Cut pieces needed for Block B (Crabs):
From the two blue background fabrics (light blue and medium-light blue), cut the following pieces:
Cut forty (twenty from each fabric) 3” x 3” squares. These will be used for pieces A1, A2, A5, B1, and B4.
Cut eight (four from each fabric) 3” x 5½” rectangles. These will be used for piece C4.
Cut eight (four from each fabric) 3” x 7½” rectangles from each fabric. These will be used for piece C5.
Cut sixteen (eight from each fabric) 3” x 4” rectangles. These will be used for pieces A7 and B6.
Cut eight (four from each fabric) 4” squares Cut each square in half diagonally to yield eight triangles of each color. These will be used for pieces C2 and C3.
Hoot 'n' Annie Owl Softies
On some Hoot 'n' Annie patterns printed before February 28, 2011, some of the seam lines did not show up. Please click here for more information.
Jewelry Travel Case
Please check page 4 of your pattern. The 4th step in section #5 should read as follows:
Attach the STUD (not socket) side of a snap fastener to the outside of the pocket 1” in from the left side and 2½” down from the top.
MiPad Case
On the first printing of MiPad Case, one item was left off the supply list on the back cover. Please note that you will also need one 1" strap adjuster for the adjustable strap on the case.
Also, on page 2 in Step C, Prepare the case components, the last line in column one should read:
Version 1 only: Position the 5½" x 12½" (not 5½" x 12") texturized strip right side up between the marked lines.
Netbook Computer Carriers
On Netbook Computer Carriers patterns printed before 2/12/13, there is one small error in the directions.
On page 5, in the step entitled "Make the Zipper/Side Strip", you will position the zipper on a 2" x 17" strip (not 1" x 17"). The cutting instructions on page 4 are correct.
Tickled Pink
On patterns printed before 5/1/10, please make the following corrections:
Page 5:
A. Cut
From texturized fabric, cut a piece 10½" x 14" (not 12" x 15") for the outside of purse and 5" x 9" (not 6" x 10") for the pockets. Cut the same size pieces from the lining fabric.
B. Measure and mark.
Mark the center of the purse. Draw a horizontal line from side to side, 7" from the top, marking the center of your purse.
To Market, To Market Tote and Tag
On patterns printed before 7/14/12, please make the following corrections:
Page 5:
5. Attach the outer pockets.
Pockets should be aligned with the B lines, not the D lines as indicated. (There are no D lines!)
Totally Trendy Totes
On patterns printed before 01/14/13, please make the following corrections:
Page 2: Section 2. Measure and Mark.
In the chart on the right (in the middle of the page), the text for C should read "Cut depth of top border less ½". The text for E should read "Cut depth of top border less ¾". The example at the bottom uses those measurements, but somehow in printing part of the text disappeared in the chart.
Travel Set
On patterns printed before 4/6/12, please make the following corrections:
Page 1: Section B. Assemble Outside Pillow.
In the first step you are instructed to sew the pillow back pieces together with a 5/8" seam. Use a basting stitch for this seam as you will remove the stitches when you install the zipper.
11x17" Pillow Pattern: Change the label on the vertical line drawn to Line B/C (not Line A/B) to correspond with the directions for Pattern B and Pattern C.
Wild Game Chase
On patterns printed before 7/17/12, please make the following corrections:
Supply list on back cover:
You will only need 3/4 yard of fabric to bind the 72" x 72" throw, not 3-3/4 yards as shown.
NOTE: If you purchase a Wild Game Chase pattern before May, 2012, please contact me for replacement. The quilt shown on the cover had an extra row of sashing that was not included in the pattern instructions. The pattern has been redone so that the instructions match the picture. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Yoga Bag
On patterns printed before 7/19/10, please make the following corrections:

Carrying Strap Pad — cut two, 2½" x 8½", and one 2½" x 6½". (Picture is correct.)
Zippered pockets — Cut two (not three) 5" x 9½" pockets. (Picture is correct.)
