Winners of the 2018 Free ByAnnie Trunk Show!
Quilt shops are the cornerstones of the sewing and quilting community. They provide gathering spaces for classes and a welcoming environment to get the creative juices flowing. They’re often places to get inspired, to learn new skills, or get just the right tools needed to unlock your potential.
In honor of Visit Your Local Quilt Shop Day on January 27th, we held a contest to celebrate our love for quilt shops. We asked all of you out there to vote for your favorite shops and tell us about why they were special to you. The contest lasted just a few short weeks, but the response was overwhelming with over 2,800 votes!
Thanks to your support, the winners who had a combination of the most votes and the best comments from their customers, are now winning a free ByAnnie trunk show to display in their shop for a full month!
See if one the winners below is your favorite shop!

Over 200 people voted for this store, and many people commented on how they travel from miles around to visit this unique shop. One person wrote, "They have lots of fabric, friendly staff, hundreds of locally made quilts that serve as great inspiration, and classes too. Also, they sell some nice novelties made by local craftsmen, that are distinct to the area. What really draws me to this store is the personal attention they give their customers!"
The Cherry Pit Quilt Shop has been offering a wide range of goods and services to their area for a very long time, and plan on using the trunk show to help celebrate their 20th anniversary during the month of September, 2018!

I use their excellent long arm services too. They’re above and beyond!”
Pinwheels & Posies was a loved & thriving quilt shop until it was devastated last year during Hurricane Harvey. But, they’re a resilient shop, full of hope and determination. With much hard work and patience, they’re nearly ready to re-open!

You are treated exceptionally well by everyone regardless of your skill level. Classes are well prepared and feel welcoming.” Another wrote, “The staff makes you feel at home, like you’re their best friend no matter if you are just a beginner or if you have been quilting for decades.
