Inspired by the well-known nursery rhyme, this whimsical quilt makes a great crib quilt or a eye-catching wall hanging in a baby's or child's room.

Nine happy sheep frolic across the meadows, flowers bloom along the rows, and three dimensional bags open to hold special treats.

Use your favorite method of appliqué: needle-turn, fusible, machine, or even raw-edge. Or try the fast and easy new technique described in the pattern using fusible thread.

The pattern includes easy-to-follow instructions for assembly of the 43" x 58" quilt.

Note from Annie:

Add some fun texture to the sheep by first texturizing the fabric using Texture Magic.  Just cut a 9" x 12" piece of fabric and Texture Magic for each sheep and stitch the two together using the stitch and thread of your choice.  I'd probably use a serpentine stitch or all-over meander stitch, varying the stitch a bit on each sheep.
