Party your stockings off with these festive stockings!

You'll be thrilled with how easy these stockings are to make. 

Just one seam is all it takes to sew the stocking front, back, lining, and batting together. 

Three more easy seams assemble the cuff and attach it to the stocking.

Add some interest by using fabric texturized with Superior Threads' Texture Magic ™.  It turns a ho-hum stocking into one that says ho-ho-HO! 

One half-yard package of Texture Magic™ makes at least two large or several smaller stockings.

The pattern includes directions for stockings in three styles and three sizes. Combine these with a myriad of fabric combinations and you'll be able to make a unique stocking perfect for each person on your list.

Choose from one of these sizes:

  • Small, about 5" x 8"

  • Medium, about 7" x 11½"

  • Large, about 9" x 15"

The pattern includes instructions for three styles of stocking:

  • The Sweet & Simple stocking has a texturized cuff.

  • The Side Strip Stocking has texture on the cuff and side strip.

  • The Diagonal Strip stocking has texture on the cuff and on the diagonal strip.

Here's a fun idea:

Make one "celebration" stocking that can be used throughout the year to celebrate someone's special day.

Stuff it with goodies and notes of love, then hang it from the bedpost, doorknob, or chair back.

Or use it as part of your party decorations, filling it with favors for friends to take home.

Whatever the occasion, a quick and easy-to-make stocking will help make it memorable and exciting.

If you prefer, you may skip the texturizing step and make any of the stockings with plain fabrics.
