Razzle Dazzle is a razzling, dazzling 8 weight thread which gives wonderful effects.

Since Razzle Dazzle is too heavy to go through a needle, it must be used in the bobbin of a sewing machine or bottom loopers of a serger.  It can also be couched on top by positioning the thread in place and stitching over it with a zig-zag or other side-to-side stitch.

This thread is perfect for stitching the star section on the Feeling Patriotic table runner or pillows.  It gives a great star effect and even more "WOW!" factor.

Here's how to do it:

1.  Wind a couple of bobbins with the Razzle Dazzle thread.

2.  Use a similarly-colored "regular" thread such as So Fine on top (through your needle).

3.  Mark a grid on the Texture Magic.  I marked 1" lines horizontally and vertically across the piece of Texture Magic and then marked diagonal lines through the squares.

4.  Pin the marked piece of Texture Magic to the back of your "star" fabric.

5.  Stitch along the marked lines in all directions.

6.  Steam the fabric to create texture.

7.  Trim the fabric to the size indicated in the pattern and continue as instructed.
