Take one easy-to-piece block and a surprisingly easy and unique setting, add some beautiful fabrics, and you've got the makings for a simple but stunning quilt.

Shimmer is a perfect two-color quilt, though using a variety of shades of those two colors increases the interest level of the quilt.

The shimmering effect is best enhanced by keeping Color 1 values in the light to medium ranges and Color 2 values in the medium to dark ranges.

The pattern includes time-saving techniques for cutting and piecing as well as step-by-step instructions for assembling the quilts in two sizes:
  • 84" x 84" twin/full quilt
  • 112" x 122" queen/king quilt
