Totally Trendy Totes
Carry your projects or other items in style
with these easy-to-make quilted totes.
Make your own custom tote using your favorite fabrics and colors. Clear
and complete instructions take you step-by-step through the process of
quilting, cutting, marking and sewing.
Pick a size — small, medium, or large. Choose a handle length —
short for hand-carrying or long for carrying over the shoulder. Decide
whether you want the security of an easy zipper closure or an open top.
Then, sew and go!
Preprinted borders work especially well for the top and bottom
borders, but any fabric (or even eyelet or lace) will work.
Instructions provide for variances in border widths. Make one elegant,
one casual, one funky -- the choice is yours!
The optional zipper is easy to install and opens to fall flat against the bag giving full access to the interior space.
See-through zippered project bags are super quick to make. They
will keep your supplies organized and are sized to fit perfectly inside
each tote.
Tote measurements are as follows:
Small: 13"W x 12"H x 4"D
Medium: 16"W x 18"H x 7"D
Large: 20"W x 17"H x 10"D
Annie prefers to use
100% polyester Soft and Stable™ in place of batting in these purses. Not only is the Soft and Stable™ very lightweight, but it holds its shape very nicely and really makes a
professional looking bag.
Customer Comments. . .
"Hand quilting is one of my favorite traveling projects. The large tote
is such a nice way to carry a large quilt. (It even holds a king-sized
one!) I can still fit in my hoop, thread, scissors and other supplies.
I used to carry everything in a big garbage bag but have heard horror
stories about someone thinking it was trash and throwing it away. That
will never happen with my colorful and beautiful tote!"
