"Inspired By FreeSpirit": Handles & Straps
Did you catch our 'Inspired by' Facebook LIVEstream with FreeSpirit Fabrics? If you didn't, we have the video here (below) and on our YouTube channel, so you can join in on the fun. Annie and FreeSpirit Fabrics have teamed up to share tips and tricks when it comes to working with strapping and handles for sewing bags. We like to cover our strapping with fabric to match and complement the finished product!
In this blog, we wanted to list a number of the products featured in the video, to make it easier for you to get started on your next project.
Polypro Strapping in 2 Colors, 2 Widths, and 3 Sizes!
ByAnnie's polypro strapping is a durable and long-lasting strapping that is great for handles for bags, purses and more. Available in black or white, we cover ours with fabric that will complement our project. Figure out what size strapping you need for your project by looking at the supply list on the back of your pattern, or on the website.
Hardware for Making Adjustable, Detachable Straps!
Our hardware comes in sets of two to meet any of your needs.
Swivel hooks and triangle rings are the perfect match for a detachable strap, rectangle rings allow the handles on a Catch All Caddy to move easily, and the wide-mouth slider is ideal for adjusting and changing the length of a carrying strap.
Watch the video at the top of the blog to learn more!
Choose hardware that will match your project. If you haven't seen the Annie+FreeSpirit video on 'Colorful Coordinates' now is a great time to check that out!
