Make your own custom computer carrier using your favorite fabrics and colors.
Clear and complete instructions take you step-by-step through the process of quilting, cutting, marking and sewing. Directions are included for two sizes/styles of netbook bags:
Netbook Case - 8½” H x 11”W x 2”D
A full zippered mesh pocket on the inside separates and protects papers, cords, and more.
Netbook Carrier - 9½”H x 11½”W x 2½”D
We recommend that you ByAnnie's Soft and Stable™ in place of batting in these bags. Not only is the Soft and Stable™ very lightweight, but it holds its shape very nicely and really makes a professional looking product.
Special thanks to Art Gallery Fabrics for the terrific fabrics used on cover. Ask for Tapestry by Sharon Holland at your local quilt shop.
If you have a regular-sized laptop or want a larger carrier, we suggest our Laptop Computer Carriers 2.0 pattern.
For widescreen laptop and an even larger case, be sure to check out our Executive Carryalls 2.0 pattern.
NOTE FROM ANNIE:
This pattern replaces the original Netbook Computer Carriers pattern (PBA186). Here's what's new:
- The new version includes updated graphics and illustrations as well as an easier-to-follow layout. You'll love the new illustrations of the various steps as well as complete labels for all the pieces. And, all instructions have been updated to incorporate Annie's best techniques.
- We've added a full zippered mesh pocket on the inside of the Netbook Case. This is a perfect spot to stash cords or paperwork. We love using mesh as it adds no bulk in the seams and also enables us to see what is in the pocket even when it is closed.
