ABOUT THE PATTERN.
Carry the essentials in style in this handy Travel Essentials 2.0 set that includes a handy fold-up organizer and a bonus hot tools sleeve.
They’ll keep your essentials organized at home or on the road!
The Organizer has mesh and vinyl pockets for visible storage. A deep zippered pocket on the bottom on the inside is perfect for larger items. A zippered pocket on the outside conceals a Hanging Strap that enables the Organizer to be hung from a rod or hook.
A coordinating Hot Tools Sleeve has two compartments, including an outer pocket for cords.
Organizer: 27½"H x 12"W when open, 9"H x 12"W x 3"D when closed.
Hot Tools Sleeve: 13½"H x 6"W.

WHAT’S NEW IN THE 2.1?
Travel Essentials 2.0 is an update of our popular Travel Essentials pattern which was released in 2013.
In addition to greatly improving the illustrations and layout, we added a hanging strap, an exterior zippered pocket, and reduced the visible stitching lines on the outside.
We also filmed an Add-on video to help you with the more unique or challenging aspects of the pattern.
Since the Travel Essentials 2.0 pattern includes a coupon to get the Add-On Video at no charge, we would recommend that you purchase the new and improved version of the pattern.

CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE.
This organizer provides many great ways to organize toiletries, but what if there aren’t any travel plans in the works?
Here are a few ideas for ways you can use this functional bag:
- Sewing Retreat — pack thread, notions, snips, and more!
- College graduation — this toiletry bag is a dorm bathroom essential!
- Makeup — store makeup and easily access it when you unroll this bag or hang it from a hook.
- Art/Craft supplies — watercolor brushes, gum arabic, erasers, colored pencils, ink pads, scrapbooking glue, and more could be easily stored and transported in this bag.

WHAT IS THAT EXTRA SLEEVE THING?
Travel Essentials 2.0 comes with instructions for an accompanying Hot Tools Sleeve. Tuck an iron or hair straightener in the main sleeve compartment and keep the cord managed by slipping it into the pocket on the front of the sleeve.
You could also use the sleeve for storing a mini iron, brushes, combs, or other larger items.
