Hardware: Will a magnet damage my electronics?

We are glad to see you thinking about the safety of your devices and using our products. Unfortunately, we are in no way experts in this field and we can provide you no guarantee that a magnet will not damage or corrupt data on your electronic devices. Please review your user manuals and/or check with the manufacturer to better understand the specifications for your device.

In our patterns for laptop, tablet, and mobile cases enclosures, we almost always use zippers or a hook and loop fastener. This is not so much because we are concerned about the magnet, but instead because we prefer the closure strength provided. We do not want our tablet falling out!
