THEIR STORY: “When I first saw ByAnnie on YouTube, I really liked the way how she explained each and every minor detail. When my uncle came to visit us from USA and he asked if there was anything I wanted. I demanded he purchase patterns and Soft and Stable for me. When he came I got these and my joy knew no bounds! When I made the Call Me pouch according to the measurements given in pattern all things came together so smoothly that I enjoyed the whole process.
After making it, I had to I think how I can use it. When my niece saw it, she liked it so much. Then other freinds also praised that it looks simple, useful, and easy to use. I learned many techniques from the Add-on Videos, including how to make good bindings and use the ByAnnie Stilletto and Pressing Tool. Due to the neatness of the project and explanation given on YouTube, I was able to successful make the project from the pattern. Thanks for all the guidelines."

Storyteller Award

PATTERN: Changing Station
THEIR STORY: "My new grandson Parker is a triple rainbow baby, and my daughter endured three rounds of IVF to conceive him. Of course he deserves a fun Changing Station! I found the perfect prickly pear cactus and "wild west" fabrics (they live in the Southwest) and began working on it ... very slowly because of other deadlines and issues that would crop up. I ran short of Soft and Stable and had to run to the quilt shop. I didn't like the chrome swivel hook I had but couldn't find black. Should I use green or black zippers? PUL or fabric?
My daughter's baby shower passed and her due date of April 1 was approaching. I no longer had all the time in the world ... now I just hoped to finish before the baby came. Meanwhile, my poor daughter was getting bruised ribs and terrible heartburn from what looked like a very large baby. Then, almost one week after her due date, the thought came to me: what if the baby is waiting on me to finish this for him? Silly as it may sound, I panicked and sat at the machine until it was done.
Three hours later my daughter went into labor, and Parker was born on 4/8 at 4:10 a.m., weighing 9 pounds, 10 ounces. Everyone is healthy and happy, and Parker has already inaugurated his Changing Station by pooping on it. (I didn't include the photo - you're welcome!) But it washed beautifully and I'm sure that's the first of many washings to come. Thanks, Annie, for a great pattern that can be personalized to be a truly one-of-a-kind gift."
