Let’s see the winners
ByAnnie Top Voted
WINNER: Susan G
PATTERN: Courtside
THEIR STORY: I am new to ByAnnie and only discovered the range when searching for a tennis racket bag pattern.
As soon as I saw this pattern I knew I had to have a go at making it.
I have been sewing for many years but this pattern was still a challenge (for me and my sewing machine!)

I left out the trolley sleeve as I felt that would not be needed and I used cotton webbing for the handles as I liked the contrasting colour and texture.
I thoroughly enjoyed making the bag and I am absolutely delighted with the result. I have received many compliments from players at my local tennis club.
I was particular impressed with the instructions in the pattern and the supporting tips. As well as being thrilled with my new tennis bag, I feel that I have learnt a lot from this project. I am now looking for my next ByAnnie bag to make.
WHAT WE LOVED: Our team member, Jacque, had this to say, " I love the fabric that was chosen and the fun way this picture is staged. What a great way to carry all that you need to play tennis."
WHAT THEY WON: $50 coupon to use on ByAnnie.com

THEIR STORY: Our families love SPAM. When a friend gifted this fabric we decided to make the bags together.
WHAT WE LOVED: Team member, Asa, said, " I think that this is one of the best uses of branded fabric I have seen! Such a fun connection to share and such a fun project to do together."

Quilt Shop Highlight
WINNER: Jennifer M from Rae-Bon Sew & Quilt Shop
PATTERN: Courtside
THEIR STORY: It's difficult to find a backpack that looks fun but is also large enough to accommodate my laptop, so I decided to make one!
I was watching an episode of Live with Annie and was inspired by the way Elissa Ziccardi mixed up the fabric on one of her Courtside bags

For my bag I decided to feature my favorite dog, Iris. I found an adorable pattern on Quilt Art Designs for a beagle, but it was 24" square. I discovered you can just reduce a paper piecing pattern and it will still all fit together so I shrunk the pattern down to fit on the side of the Courtside bag.

I also sized down a paw paper piecing from Whole Circle Studio for the bottle holder pocket.
I needed the bag to be a bit larger to fit my laptop, so I enlarged the bag by 5" in height, added a laptop pocket, and changed up some of the other interior pockets.
This bag was so much fun to make and I absolutely love the way it turned on. It's one my favorite projects I've ever made.
WHAT WE LOVED: One member of our staff, Elisa, shared, "Photos don't do it justice. This might be the most impressive piecing I've seen on a ByAnnie bag."

SewPINK
WINNER: Polly D
PATTERN: MJ's Messenger Bag, iCases, and Clam Up
THEIR STORY: I made this for my daughter, who is an executive with a large healthcare company.
I knew she would use it and I really wanted to make her something other than quilts.

I struggled somewhat because there isn't an add-on video and the number of pieces was overwhelming. I decided to do each section at a time, cutting as I went. My friend talked me off the ledge several times.
This pattern is definitely not for beginners or the faint of heart! It took me several weeks to complete, but I was happy with the final bag and so was my daughter. She loves pink and purple. I also made her a matching ipad case for her computer and matching clam shells for her cords.
WHAT WE LOVED: We loved how Polly supported her daughter in healthcare and put thought into making practical, but personalized projects for her.
WHAT THEY WON: $15 coupon to use on ByAnnie.com

PATTERN: Travel Essentials 2.0, Clam Up, Ultimate Travel Bag, Easy Does It, and Back At Ya
THEIR STORY: I'm from Rome Italy. I fell in love with by Annie bag when I first made Ultimate Travel Bag.

For a vacation to Dolomites Mountains I wanted to have a set and I made the other bags to have all in its place. I can't stop making By Annie bags!
WHAT WE LOVED: Team member, Joe, enthusiastically said, "What is better than 1 beautiful ByAnnie bag? Of course, the answer is 5 ByAnnie bags. What a beautiful set."
WHAT THEY ONE: $15 coupon to use on ByAnnie.com

Honorable Mention
WINNER: Kerrie K
PATTERN: Ultimate Travel Bag
THEIR STORY: I sent all of my children off to war, including my daughter. It was a very dark time in my life.
Myself, I am a Gulf War veteran and saved virtually nothing from when I served.
When my children served, we saved what we were allowed, go document our family history.
I recently retired and am getting caught up on all these sewing projects—the most important one is upcycling their uniforms into something positive.
ByAnnie are my favorite bag patterns, I gave my son and his wife a choice of which bag pattern, without hesitation they chose the UTB 2.0.
The travel bag was immediately put into use, and is a great medium size for my son who is the size of a Grizzly, and his petite beautiful wife.
WHAT WE LOVED: Asa said it perfectly, "This is such a great testament to the benefits of having a creative outlet. Seeing a story like this being expressed so well through a creative project is very powerful."
WHAT THEY WON: $15 coupon to use on ByAnnie.com
