ByAnnie Top Voted
WINNER: Kicki G
PATTERN: Back At Ya
THEIR STORY: I walk with walking sticks due to balance problems, so a back pack is essential. I’ve made three Got your back before, but this time I went for something smaller, hence Back at ya. You don’t always need to stuff groceries in your bag! I was pleasantly surprised with this neat format and I am already planning the next one…
WHAT WE LOVED: Annie had this to say, "Kicki did a beautiful job on this classic blue and white Back At Ya! It is SO very lovely. I was happy to hear how well the bag suits her needs and enjoyed seeing how she customized her backpack using the straps from Out and About. Thanks, Kicki, for sharing so many photos of all parts of your fabulous backpack!"
WHAT THEY WON: $50 coupon to use on ByAnnie.com
Storyteller Award
WINNER: Helen E
PATTERN: Two Big Totes, Clam Up
THEIR STORY: I have an amazing friend, who loves dragons, so I always look for things, dragon related. My local quilt shop posted photos of some of this line and when I saw the dragon eyes, I knew it would be perfect for the handles on the Two Big Totes, size large.
As I already had the pattern, all that was left was to buy the fabric. I took the sandwich for the body of the bag, to my longarmer and chose a Celtic knot to be quilted on it. I did some free motion quilting (not something I do) on the front and back pockets, so don't look too closely...LOL
As she walks with the assistance of a cane, I put d-rings on for an adjustable strap, also one of your patterns, in case she would prefer to carry it cross body. I added a key leash inside, made from the salvage. I also put bag feet on the bottom, but did not take a photo. A few days later, I decided to make a medium clam up, just because.
I had such fun making this and fussy cutting fabric for different components of the bag. Her birthday is mid next month and I am so excited to give this to her.
WHAT WE LOVED: Our team member Cody had this to say, "I love the use of fall colors, on the bag and in the background. I also like all the eyes on the handles."

PATTERN: Get Out of Town
THEIR STORY:
After a dear friend was diagnosed with breast cancer, one of the ways she chose to fight back was by hosting a fundraiser each October to raise money for gift/treat/comfort bags for cancer patients undergoing treatment. Here’s my donation to the raffle-so proud to be asked to be a part of this project!
WHAT WE LOVED: Our team member Casey had this to say, "I love the fabric and it's super awesome that her friend does a fundraiser every year!

PATTERN: Bosom Buddy
THEIR STORY: I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2025. It was quite a shock and wanted to find patterns that would help me and others who are going through a similar journey. I will be making these patterns to donate to our local cancer treatment center.
WHAT WE LOVED: Our team member Jacque had this to say, "I love that she is going to be making these and donating them."

WINNER: Lynne N
PATTERN: Other
THEIR STORY:
My granddaughter loves all creatures. She wanted an angler fish costume so I made her one, using remnants from my LQS.
Soft and Stable gave the needed structure for the fish’s body. Her ghostbuster twin brother looks amused at this menacing creature!
WHAT WE LOVED: Annie had this to say, "OMG! That angler fish costume is SO fantastic. Like Lynne's granddaughter, I am a huge fan of angler fish and am so impressed that Lynne made one for Halloween. The Soft and Stable gives it great stability! I'm working on an FPP angler fish to add to a Side Hustle. More details coming in December!"

WINNER: Theresa M
PATTERN: Other
THEIR STORY: My son loves plants and his favorite is Venus fly traps, and the move Little Shop of Horrors…He asked me to make him into one for Halloween and it was pretty awesome!
WHAT WE LOVED: Annie had this to say, "Little Shop of Horrors is one of my very favorite shows and I loved seeing the amazing costume that Theresa made for her son. He had to have been the hit of trick or treating this year! What a fun way to celebrate and acknowledge his love of plants and Venus fly traps!"

Honorable Mention
WINNER: Michelle H
PATTERN: Other
THEIR STORY: This hat is an amalgam of Quilted Witch’s Hat by Sew a Story and Wende Witch Hat by By the Bay Co. with a lot of modifications using techniques I learned making By Annie bags. I substituted By Annie Soft and Stable for traditional quilt batting so that the hat would have structure. The spiderweb and beaded spider were inspired by @threadhandedjill and the felt flowers patterns by @resacurbocreative
Three days, that’s how long I spent making this hat but I thought about it for much longer. I loved the straw witchy hat that @threadhandedjill made with her dewy web and bead spider. I also loved the quilted witchy hats by @sewastory_jenniferlong and @bythebaybagco.
I made a few quilted witchy hats for family all the while thinking my way through how I would make one for myself that would combine the beautiful dewy web and spider with a crumpled quilted witch hat. Sunday I jumped into the project with both feet and went deep down the rabbit hole not stopping until I was done.
My hat is a combination of ideas from several patterns made with soft and stable as the stabilizer and using things I learned in bag making @patternsbyannie patterns. The web is my second attempt and I can see now that I could have gone a bit bigger, maybe I will revisit that next Halloween.
Once I got the hat and web and spider finished I felt like something was still missing. That’s when I remembered @resacurbocreative beautiful felt flowers so I gave those a try. I am so happy with the finished product.
WHAT WE LOVED: Annie had this to say, "I loved reading the story about Michelle's witch hat and how she combined so many things she had learned from a variety of patterns to make such a stunning accessory for the holidays!"

Honorable Mention
WINNER: Terry G
PATTERN: Multiple
THEIR STORY:
My first by Annie bag was the ultimate travel bag on Craftsy gosh probably 10 or11 years ago. I was hooked on Byannie. I have made over 15 of the travel bags as gifts. I started teaching By Annie classes at a friends fabric store (Yardgoods Center Waterville maine) 4 years ago. I was successful in teaching many people how to make ByAnnie patterns.
I started teaching out of my house and have been doing that for two years. My quilt Guild that I belong to wanted me to do ByAnnie trunk show, and these pictures reflect almost all of my samples. There are a couple patterns in the picture that aren’t By Annie but all the rest are. Needless to say I’m a fan.
WHAT WE LOVED: Our team member Bunker had this to say, " All I can say is WOW!!! All of those ByAnnie bags. They are beautiful!!"
WHAT THEY WON: $15 coupon to use on ByAnnie.com
